Mobile Credential Access Made Simple
The ETMobile Reader is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) input, Wiegand output reader designed exclusively for the Zodiac Connect app on iOS and Android devices.
Instead of traditional access cards or key fobs, ETMobile uses a digital credential stored in the user's mobile app. Site or organization administrators manage credential assignments, providing convenient and secure mobile access.
When a user presents their mobile device, the Zodiac Connect app transmits the user's digital ID to the reader via Bluetooth. The reader then sends the ID to the access control system through Wiegand, where access permissions are evaluated.
The digital credential is stored in the user's mobile app, while access rights are managed by the existing access control system.
Your smartphone is your credential.
